What’s Good in YOUR ‘Hood?
You can have the best business in the world, but what does it matter if nobody knows about it? Press Releases, high profile blogs and targeted websites are all great tools for getting the word out. While I have encouraged many of my teens to try to send out press releases (or at least blog) about important things happening in their business, newly acquired clients or new product launches, the vast majority of them simply have not had time. So we decided to raise the bar in the industry and get creative in how we could further catapult and support our rapidly growing teen entrepeneur community.
Given the number of requests we receive on a weekly basis to blog about teens and their business milestones we decided to formalize the process and launch yet another Renegades Signature Service- Got Schmooze. This is a ‘big’ news announcement service for our visionary and emerging teen Renegade CEO’s. Got Schmooze will takes submissions and announcements from Teen CEO’s across the globe who need help getting their message out on a larger scale.
How it works is you send us your inquiry and we will send you a profile form that requests the vital information. We will help to craft and distribute your message to a larger audience who are interested in hearing what your company is doing. Obviously, the aim is to get you on the radar and provide a place where journalists and bloggers can find sources for their respective stories. If you want to be considered and featured on Got Schmooze:
1. Be interesting and/or newsworthy- Some examples include a recent or upcoming company launch; a newly established website or blog; a new client acquired; a new book; or a new product or service released.
2. The Got Schmooze request must be submitted by a teen owned business (and the owner of the content).
3. The notable achievement will be posted as a blog entry and categorized…and if it is something we consider ’exceptional’ we will create it into a press release. If your schmooze could use a little tweaking and accessorizing we will even share some ideas on how you can position your news to give it a little more substance.
We will provide a link to your website or blog (so it is important to include a link to a website, blog, facebook page etc when you send in your submission). This in turn will help you to build your website rankings and get more exposure.
