A Dangerously Fun and Delish Idea!

While we cannot take full credit for thinking of all these over the top ideas, we will take full credit for agreeing to 100% get involved in all these crazy over the top adventures that manifest out of these over the top ideas. Our current 2009 creative endeavor was inspired by Rodney Henry, Founder of a chain of pie shops called Dangerously Delicious Pies in Baltimore, MD. One guilty party aka Patrick Oberman was in love with Rodney’s pies since he first sunk his teeth into a slice. Like the experience for most ‘DD’ fanatics, it was love at first bite! Then for more than 2 years after that experience Patrick kept saying ‘we really need a Dangerously Delicious Pie Shop in DC’. Finally, one day the spirit hit him and he set off on a serious mission to open his Dangerously Delicious pie shop.

Meanwile back at the entrepreneurial ranch, I was just working and whittling away at my entrepreneurial adventures with all my incredible teens. Then out of the blue enter an announcement for a business plan competition in DC. So as Patrick and I began discussing entering our respective businesses into the competition our ideas got all mixed up….translation, Patrick mixed them up. Why not create a business concept where we invite some local entrepreneurial teens to help set up a Dangerously Delicious Pie Shop in DC. I thought it was a genius idea  Alas we are here! We will be blogging about our start up adventures and logging all the entries here so that you can follow along.
