“We need the voice of the young people to transform this nation.” – President Barack Obama

Shonika is ‘Prompting the Emerging Voice’ of teens through her books, branded curriculum, coaching, speaking and workshops. Since 2006 she has volunteered 3,000+ hours and connected with 40k+ teens in the U.S. and 15+ countries. She is considered the Pioneer of Teen Entrepreneur Coaching and foremost thought leader when it comes to teens and entrepreneurship. In 2009 her top 5 teen entrepreneurs collectively grossed more than half a million dollars.

Shonika is the founder of Group Interactive, Inc., a Washington, DC based for purpose company that CONNECTS YOUTH TO THE WORLD AROUND THEM (the constant) using non conventional vocational and entpreneurship programs (the variable) that can be delivered in a variety of settings and formats. With the support of her teens, their non conventional curriculum knows no boundaries. They are very experiential in their curriculum development approach and the Renegade CEO’s programs have incorporated everything from martial arts, pop culture icons and video games to vintage cartoons and spoken word poetry to appeal to today’s dynamic and visionary teenagers.

Shonika’s teens start their Infinite Expedition with seemingly ’simple ideas’ and seldom with any business experience. However, they realize that entrepreneurship is not a course or a class but a level of consciousness. Through immersion they LIVE IT in order to learn it. They explore their respective industry, connect with their customer and reflect on themselves until they naturally progress into a host of niche/micro businesses.
