On today’s episode of Renegade Teens Radio, Host Patricio Quezada, CEO of HispanicsLearn chats with Bradley Will, That Gen Y Guy. Bradley Will is the Ultimate Go-Giver and Founder of Social Media Altitude. He blogs about his adventures in living the ‘good’ life with his up and coming young entrepreneurs on BradleyWill.com .
As it was a small miracle in itself getting Bradley lined up to be interviewed on the show in between his co-hosting the YES Movie Screening in Chi-Town (Chicago) and being featured on Rise to the Top TV, we are definitely going to make the most of our precious one hour with him. As Renegade Teens believe that 21 is technically ‘old’ by today’s standards, inquiring minds want to know how someone who is age 27 could possibly be considered a ‘young’ entrepreneur and how can any movie before 1990 be considered ‘inspirational and entrepreneurial’ to today’s ‘truly’ young entrepreneurs?
Get informed firsthand and be entertained as Bradley brings his midwest charm and Patricio adds his Hispanic Chispa. As always, we are looking forward to your participation and seeing what new adventures will evolve from this episode. Tune into the show tonight at 6 pm EST. www.blogtalkradio.com/RenegadeTeens

Last week I got my Google Wave invite and darn near deleted it….intentionally. I obviously didn’t realize how in demand those invites were….ooops. I read that people were paying as much as $70 on eBay for an invite. Insane. Needless to say, I activated the invite and am currently testing it. The WOW factor wore off in about ummm a few hours. It is neat to read what is on the horizon and some of the bots that will be available for it. But with limited functionality and only a couple of people to test it with, I don’t see all the hoopla just yet.
A groovy little 2 min video in simple terms can be found here >> Courtesy of Epipheo
Also, one of my Triad partners (sophisticated version of a mastermind group)….Greg Balanko Dickson ‘The Small Business Sherpa’, hosts an online show called ‘Social Capital Daily’. Last week on one of his episodes he talked about the initial experiences we had using Google Wave. I really like the “whole brain” speaking and presentation format that he uses for his short daily 15 min broadcasts. They are an integrated Live Interactive Broacasting and Web Conferencing System. It is called the “Attain Response Marketing System” and I think that it is fairly new. (The guy who introduced it to us is @poweralex on Twitter). At the same time Greg is speaking, he is flipping the pages of his powerpoint presentation which is shown to the right of him. The program also includes a really nice tool for sending video email. Anyway, check out the system set up, along with what he has to say about Google Wave on his episode entitled ‘Everyone Online is Your Neighbor’. And be sure to “Wave” to me via “teenbizcoach” on gmail if you are currently testing the system and teach me how to do something really cool, that I don’t already know how to do If you want to get on the waiting list for Google Wave >> wave.google.com @teenbizcoach

How to Level Up is the title of a cleverly written blog post that I read today on www.chrisbrogan.com For those who are not famiiar with Chris Brogan 1. If you are doing anything online or in the social media space you should be as he is one of the pioneers in that space and 2. He is a social media consultant who speaks on the “human perspective” of how you market and brand yourself in the social media space.
Like I always say, you can’t exist ‘online’, unless you exist ‘offline’. The Internet is merely another tool for marketing and promoting yourself/your business.Unless you can create real dialogue with real people, then don’t expect to get very far.
In Chris Brogan’s blog post, “Leveling Up” refers to playing video games and essentially advancing to the next level of the game. He uses it as a metaphor for how to go to the next level in your business. His blog posts are ‘easy reads’ so be sure to check it out and let me know what your thoughts on it.
Self-Proclaimed Internet Business King, 20 year old David King, @DavidBeKing on Twitter has announced a contest to promote the release of his new traffic building system, Traffic on Demand, TOD. To promote his new product launch he is giving away 3 copies of the full version of his Traffic on Demand System. To enter the contest you need to answer 2 questions in the comments section of his blog (see the blog post for the questions) and share the contest on your blog, Twitter, Facebook and/or preferred social network. Hence why I am writing this blog post. If I didn’t love this kid and chat with him all the time on Twitter, I would not be going through all these changes Having worked with him in his teen years (he turned 20 this summer) and knowing all the support and advice he gives to many of the teens in the Renegades network I would certainly support him regardless of whether or not a contest was being offered.
He is looking for any type of promotional support for his program. Bonus points if you create a video in You Tube. I would definitely like to see one or more of my teen Renegade CEO’s win a copy of the Traffic On Demand System. For those interested in the contest you can check out the details on his blog (http://retwt.me/jvqu)
Regardless if you decide to enter the contest, you should definitely connect with him on Twitter @DavidBeKing
Good luck to everyone who participates in the contest. And be sure to let us know if you win so that we can feature you on the Renegades blog, which is now ranked in the Top 300k in the U.S. Whooop! As always, appreciate your continued support.

Carrrlita27 (sometimes incorrectly referred to as Carlita 27) is a 14 year old teen entrepreneur and rising online star aka internet personality on You Tube. See her video below that has over 3.5 million views!!! In a recent interview on Fox she said that she started making videos for fun about random things in her life and one of her videos went viral (meaning it was getting sent all over the place) and that basically started a domino effect. As a result of all her instant new found fame she got contacted by You Tube with an offer to set up a partner account and now she enjoys paid advertising on her site and her site draws in somewhere in the 4 figures per month.
I know a lot of teens that try to go this path of overnight You Tube Star. But it seems like when you are trying to make something viral no matter how much marketing you put forth it never happens! Go figure, huh? It is always something really random that becomes popular. Needless to say if you are out there marketing you tube videos you should always have a blog or something ready to be able to capture the continued interest of all those ‘fans’ who may be curious about you in general and want to see other things you have to offer. And instead of focusing all your efforts trying to make a viral video, focus on your niche/specialty business and create videos that tie back to that brand. This is what will build you a strong, loyal following of raving fans and repeat buyers. Remember it was ultimately the turtle who beat the hare.

For those of you who are on Twitter, here is a great list of high profile Tweeps (people who Twitter) who often will follow you back. I recognize quite a lot of the names and they are pretty interactive with their lists. Congrats to Teen CEO @StanleyTang who made the list with over 20k followers. Insanely cool
I have done several posts on what Twitter is…but here’s the quick and dirty- it is an online marketing tool that pacificies the voyeuristic nature of people. It’s a massively huge public timeline where everyone basically answers the same question “What Are You Doing?” (in 140 characters or less). It’s hard to explain until you start doing it… Dan Hollings has a great Squidoo Lens if you want to read through quickly and see all his tips and tricks. It’s a tremendous resource http://www.squidoo.com/twittinsecrets
And here is Part 2 if you were looking for that (you’re welcome )
With his love of music, boyishly good looks and charming ways you’d think that UK teen Ed “Nashy” Nash was bringing back The British Invasion with a modern twist. But in fact, he’s soaring up the charts in a slightly different kind of way- as a successful teen entrepreneur with his latest social media venture www.ClastaZ.com a music discovery site which is used to find new music and dig up the old.
We got some pumpin’ jumpin’ booty bumpin’ news for ya’…..Our Teen Entrepreneur Blog got accepted into the prestigious and uber cool Alltop’s Best of the Best Blogs….And YES! It really and truly is a VERY big deal. Alltop was founded by Guy Kawasaki ….the quick and dirty if you haven’t heard of him- he is an old-school Mac Marketing Guy (from the EARLY 80’s); he currently runs an early stage start-up venture firm for innovative tech companies and he is a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. His site Alltop.com is ranked very high somewhere around the low 100k level in Alexa. You can connect with him on Twitter @guykawasaki where he has around 20k followers (yeah, no joke). So needless to say, we have been recognized by some well-connected social media guru and we legit in somebody’s book …from email inquiries to social networking friend requests to our online ranking jump, we are already feeling a small level of the fame that is sure to follow in just 48 hours of being listed :) I am so thrilled and over the top excited about how much exposure this is going to bring for my emerging teen and young entrepreneurs!
Want to get listed on Alltop.com? Approval is (usually) done via an application process. Here’s where to start along with a few tips of how to improve your chances of getting in. These tips come courtesy of Donna Marie at Indie Business.

Separated by 6 degrees? Make it 3 with Linked In. If you haven’t heard of it before, Linked In is an established and extremely credible social networking site primarily for business professionals, regardless of whether you are employed somewhere or are an entrepreneur. The concept behind Linked In is that probably everybody you will ever need or want to speak to or connect with is probably separated from you by 2 levels of people within your network. Think about it this way, you probably always talk to people about common people you know even though there are few times that you would probably ever meet them unless it was a social gathering or some sort. So Linked In puts everyone in a visual format and they show who is connected to you and by which friend or friends they are connecting.
What is Linked In?
What are the benefits of using Linked In? Well there are a number of reasons, but I’ll share these for starters:
