You could do better if you knew better….know what I am sayin’? It’s all about being present! I know that some folks in the world frown upon teens having their say, but in the world of the Renegade CEO’s it is very much encouraged. You are not inconviencing me. By supporting you, I grow as well. I hear from Patricio Quezada every single week because he wants to be looped on everything that is going on in the world of teen entrepreneurs and he wants to make sure I am looped with what is going on in his world. Whether he tweets me on Twitter, sends me an email, connects with me on skype, writes on my wall on Facebook or places a phone call I know I am going to hear from him.
So I guess it is no wonder he has been able to quickly act on every opportunity that has come about over recent months and as a result has been able to enjoy $2,995 complimentary admission & scholarship to Serial Internet Entrepreneur and Self Made Millionaire’s Yanik Silver’s Underground 5 Online Marketing Seminar, where he got to network with the likes of Bob Parsons, CEO of GoDaddy.com and Tony Hsieh, Founder of Zappos.com. Then an article was picked up about him in the Washington Business Journal Newspaper. A month later he was interviewing one of his idols, Toilet Paper Entrepreneur, Mike Michalowicz and in the past 2 weeks he has been featured on CNN (see clip above), in a photo shoot for a National Campaign for Teen Entrepreneurs and requested for paid speaking and workshop gigs (outside of his hometown) this summer.
We get media, sponsorship and strategic partnership requests ON THE REGULAR so if you are an aspiring or emerging teen entrepreneur let me hear from you regardless of what stage of business you are in- conceptual or operational! I am here to support you.
You already know your potential, now you just need to fearlessly grow into it.
Continue to elevate.

A happenin’ producer for mainstream television shows like Supernanny and the Real Housewives of New York is in search of YOU….more specifically YOUTH!!! Peep the shout out in USA Today: http://bit.ly/cHF3J
They are looking here and there, high and low, near and far, over and under for a teen between the ages of 13-18 who has an existing business, got their legalmoney making groove on and have something that has the potential to grow worldwide. They will even consider teens who work in a family-owned business. (If you don’t fit this profile, please pass it forward. It will come back to you and in a much bigger way, I promise! Teen Renegade CEO Patricio Quezada, 18, CEO of Hispanics Learn is going to be featured on an upcoming segment of CNN (in the next week). We will share the link with you as soon as the story airs. The story will air on CNN plus all its affiliates and on the web. This kind of exposure, which is free and will be in millions of homes across the globe is priceless.
The Renegade CEO’s are becoming the go to place for the hottest teen and young entrepreneurs. So make sure you are connected with us because for the past few stories we have had requests for multiple teen entrepreneurs in certain geographic regions or industries. So you never know when we are going to be seeking you out.
The CNN Producer reached out to me for leads and had considered several teen CEO’s for the story. Three days full of anxiety and anticipation would pass before I asked my teens if any of them heard anything back. Patricio non chalantly says to me ‘oh yea, she been called me back and finalized a date for me to come to the studio.’ !!!Teenagers!!!…Go figure, lol! Luckily, we have long been ‘READY’, hence, after creating a few marketing promos special to this media feature and some interview coaching, we were able to flow with the energy and bask in the magical experience of the day.
One of our very own teen CEO’s Danielle Herb of Natural Horsemanship is in the news today. She is on the front page of news station of WCTV (Florida). Here is the clip:
Danielle’s niche business is Natural Horsemanship. She uses horses and equine assisted training techniques to help ADD/ADHD and autistic children to overcome their illnesses naturally without the use of prescription medication. Pretty awesome business concept, huh? Recently after attending Yanik Silver’s Underground Online Seminar (memba’ that….I adopted Danielle days before the event ;-)) we went to Fuddruckers after the day’s conference. There, Danielle, Patricio (www.hispanicslearn.com), Marianne (www.lifeisaplayground.com), Chris (www.networkology.com) and myself started brainstorming for like 3 hours over free refills I was on a mission to come up with a name for Danielle’s book (you know me and my obsession with names and titles and branding). So I heard Danielle telling a story about an experience with one of her kids in the program and that sparked “Dropping the Reins”: Peaceful Transformation Techniques for ADD/ADHD & Autistic Children Using Natural Horsemanship (the book) and ‘Drop the Reins”: Learn to Trust (which Danielle came up with for the home study course). We also masterminded our latest creative venture ’Roughly Famous’….another day, another post!
So look out for some more great stories on Danielle Herb of Natural Horsemanship www.danielleherb.com because she is going to be rockin’ the news. And here is the clip again: http://budurl.com/yqe8
And what about you? What unique or interesting business are you doing or what important announcement do you have to make about your business? If you are between the ages of 13-19 don’t forget to write me through the contact form on this page and let me know. I want to get your story out there and maybe, just maybe your local TV, newspaper or radio station may pick your story up or you might even get more clients. You’ll never know if you don’t try.

We got some pumpin’ jumpin’ booty bumpin’ news for ya’…..Our Teen Entrepreneur Blog got accepted into the prestigious and uber cool Alltop’s Best of the Best Blogs….And YES! It really and truly is a VERY big deal. Alltop was founded by Guy Kawasaki ….the quick and dirty if you haven’t heard of him- he is an old-school Mac Marketing Guy (from the EARLY 80’s); he currently runs an early stage start-up venture firm for innovative tech companies and he is a columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. His site Alltop.com is ranked very high somewhere around the low 100k level in Alexa. You can connect with him on Twitter @guykawasaki where he has around 20k followers (yeah, no joke). So needless to say, we have been recognized by some well-connected social media guru and we legit in somebody’s book …from email inquiries to social networking friend requests to our online ranking jump, we are already feeling a small level of the fame that is sure to follow in just 48 hours of being listed :) I am so thrilled and over the top excited about how much exposure this is going to bring for my emerging teen and young entrepreneurs!
Want to get listed on Alltop.com? Approval is (usually) done via an application process. Here’s where to start along with a few tips of how to improve your chances of getting in. These tips come courtesy of Donna Marie at Indie Business.

Many thanks to Tamara Graham and her team at True Genius Magazine who featured (myself) Shonika Proctor along with my incredible Teen CEO’s in her publication this month. And also a very big thank you goes out to Peter Shankman @ HARO (www.helpareporter.com) who made the connection possible in the first place.
The article is titled:
Teen Entrepreneurs: How One Young Woman is Uncovering the Next Generation of Business Masterminds.
Note that I stated it is the first article. This will actually be part of a series in which every month in 2009 one of my Teen Renegade CEO’s will be featured. How very awesome is that?!!! The power and reach of the internet and the social networking space…indeed it is a b-e-a-ootiful thing

You know something….every single time I tell folk that I work with teen entrepreneurs they are like, ‘yea, that’s nice…sounds interesting.’ Let me make something clear to you grown ups out there-
There is a surge of radical new businesses being developed by people under 18 EVERY DAY.
This is my teen entrepreneur success story featuring teen entrepreneurs Daniel Uribe and John Brziecki. This is also the (Young) Renegade CEO’s World Premiere Video starring Daniel Uribe and John Brziecki. They scripted, filmed, edited and produced it…Pretty darn good for a cram course self-taught video class from Current TV, one handheld HD (high definition) Sony camera and DIY editing on Apple imovie ‘08, huh?
