Pumpin’ Jumpin’ Booty Bumpin’! You guys are so awesome. Over the last 7 months you have helped the Renegade CEO’s go from relatively unknown and unranked on the web to now in the Top 800,000 websites in the world! And nearly half of our teens are from outside of the U.S. Global Teen Dominance…I am so feeling it. We are excited just to be in the top million :) All of this has been achieved through organic growth and social networking with no pay per click ads and no search engine optimized content. The Renegades community has been tremendous and I really appreciate your return visits, blog comments, feedback and ideas. So again, I just want to say Thank You very much for everything and for spreading the word about the Renegades via the social networking sites. To express my sincerest gratitude I want to share a few fun things that we are launching over the next couple of weeks, just for you.

Filed under Teen CEO's, Teenaged World of Maddy

Rajon Mozee, 17 (and he just turned 17 about a month ago)!! is the master of destruction and reconstruction when it comes to the Nintendo PSP. He is a BEAST and the ultimate mod’der. So get a sneak peak at the intro of his company Blaze Computer Systems…(yes, he is just waaay too humble sometimes). www.blazecomputersystems.com and scroll to the bottom to check out his “hot tech” section. There you will find a LED colored light that does some tripped out thing that makes your running water look like a different color (in a cool way); t-shirts that play soundtracks; a portable backpack for your laptop battery and some other really fun stuff— that you can actually buy!

Then hold on to your horses as we are getting ready to launch a host of tripped out videos for your viewing pleasure of some of the crrrazzzzy stuff he can do with a PSP/Lite, iTouch and MacBook. It’ll blow yo mind fuh real.

But for now boys and girls….check out Rajon’s interview on Teenaged World of Maddy. In his interview he chats about all his cool tech stuff he imports from Asia (namely Japan) and the stuff he sells here in the states that nobody else is selling. He will also chat a little about:

  • How he taught himself to modify iphones and PSP’s among other tech gadgets
  • A 500 gb hard drive in his Nintendo?
  • GPS and cell phone integration in his Nintendo PSP Lite
  • 11 pages of iPhone Themes…some of which he designed (told you he was a beast)
  • And much, much, more.

Alright folks, so hold on to your seats- it’s going to be a fun ride! http://twurl.nl/n7dx5i

Blaze Computer Systems Intro Commercial- Thanks to Renegade CEO Daniel Uribe of Lazer Bearings who scripted, filmed and edited this video :)

Hey there, hi there, ho there everybody!

Yanik Silver just made a post on his blog announcing the 10 Young Scholarship Recipients for his recent contest. And the coolest thing ever [at least in the world according to me] is that over half of the winners were teenagers, w00t! w00t! You guys are taking over the world I tell ya ;-)

But anyway, without further adieu….http://twurl.nl/fz0pwg

And a very special Congratulations to the Renegades very own Patricio Quezada of (http://www.hispanicslearn.com)!  Winning all 10 spots definitely would have been nice, but hey, we got our foot in the door and one spot is definitely just the beginning :)

Entertainment Arts (EA) [Read: If I have to tell you who EA is when it comes to the world of video games perhaps you best not enter this contest, lol] and Best Buy have teamed up to bring a fun, creative and intellectually challenging competition for teens called “Invent a (Video) Game”. [Has this totally not what you have been waiting for?]. Not only will you get a chance to have your idea to actually be produced into a game but you can also win up to $10,000. Just imagine the amazing exposure and opportunity this could bring to lil’ old you!

I already know some teens who would be great candidates for this game- Rajon Mozee, Master Nintendo PSP Mod Man, (www.blazecomputersystems.com) are you reading this? :) Pat Gelado (www.hispanicslearn.com), how about your video game addicted lil’ bro? C’mon. One of my Renegades has gots to win this. Actually, I want so many of my teen Renegade CEO’s to bum rush them and enter this competition that they have to consider opening a separate division of their company for Freelance Teen Game Creators.

To learn more about this fantastic contest (and APPLY)….please visit: http://www.bkfk.com/Games/ (Note: the more Rated R for Renegade the concept is the better…evil grin).

The contest ends on March 31, 2009 and many thanks to By Kids For Kids, an invention website for kids, for sharing this wonderful opportunity.

Good luck everybody!

Mentoring and Business Funding: Embracing Your Best Odds by Marshall Haas, Teen CEO of inVision Projects

[Note: Like most serial teen entrepreneurs Marshall Haas (http://www.invisionprojects.com) woke up in the middle of the night having a creative moment and wanted to capture his vision in the essence of the moment. So he wrote the following guest post on his beloved iPhone and promptly sent it to me as soon as he finished. So please pardon some of the grammatical errors. And by the way Marshall- you are most welcome and I am very honored to be the second person who got to touch and share your living dream. In the famous words of one of my Renegade CEO's, Matthew Turcotte of Northshore Web Development "One of the best things about being a teen entrepreneur is that adults want to see you succeed."]

Take it away Marshall ;-)

Tonight, I realized something very obvious yet very inspiring. Although I try to surround myself with as many like minded entrepreneurs, we are rare. First off obviously there are only so many entrepreneurs out there. Then I thought geez there really aren’t a ton of young entrepreneurs in the overall entrepreneur mix. We are a niche market in and of ourselves. I’ve come to realize in the last few weeks there are several niche organizations seeking out the best young entrepreneurs. If I’m rare, I’ve got great odds at chasing being the best in the world in my niche.

Example:
Yanik Silver and Shonika Proctor only had so many kids apply for the Young Entrepreneur Challenge. I’m sure they had their choices but let’s be honest, it wasn’t like the 100,000,000 to 1 lottery. I’m going to embrace my odds and seek out organizations such as ObsidianLaunch.com (which I just found) I’m figuring out there are several coaching organizations, (Yanik Silvers new “giving back” plan) and investor groups specifically seeking out young entrepreneurs like myself and possibly you if you’ve stumbled upon this article. Learn, embrace, and give yourself the best odds.

The aim of this post was to make kids like myself realize we actually have great odds at succeeding NOW rather than the guy starting his first business in his 30’s and on. The odds are in our favor. I am
realizing this more and more everyday.

Think of the media, parents, and the majority of Americans! We all like to know that a 19 year old adolescent can be great and do what other, wiser, more experienced people sometimes can not. We all love the young pop stars, child actors, the teenage sports prodigies, and yes… The young millionaire CEO’s.

I feel so very blessed with this new opportunity I have been given. February 20th could not come sooner. Thank you Yanik Silver, Shonika Proctor, and the many groups seeking to uplift young people like
myself. I will be seeking you guys out a lot more! :-D
