Over the last 7 months you have helped the Renegade CEO’s go from relatively unknown and unranked on the web to now in the Top 800,000 websites in the world! And nearly half of our teens are from outside of the U.S. Global Teen Dominance…I am so feeling it. We are excited just to be in the top million All of this has been achieved through organic growth and social networking with no pay per click ads and no search engine optimized content. The Renegades community has been tremendous and I really appreciate your return visits, blog comments, feedback and ideas. Rajon Mozee, 17 (and he just turned 17 about a month ago)!! is the master of destruction and reconstruction when it comes to the Nintendo PSP. He is a BEAST and the ultimate mod’der. Mentoring and Business Funding: Embracing Your Best Odds by Marshall Haas, Teen CEO of inVision Projects

Tonight, I realized something very obvious yet very inspiring. Although I try to surround myself with as many like minded entrepreneurs, we are rare. First off obviously there are only so many entrepreneurs out there. Then I thought geez there really aren’t a ton of young entrepreneurs in the overall entrepreneur mix. We are a niche market in and of ourselves. I’ve come to realize in the last few weeks there are several niche organizations seeking out the best young entrepreneurs. If I’m rare, I’ve got great odds at chasing being the best in the world in my niche.

Example:
Yanik Silver and Shonika Proctor only had so many kids apply for the Young Entrepreneur Challenge. I’m sure they had their choices but let’s be honest, it wasn’t like the 100,000,000 to 1 lottery. I’m going to embrace my odds and seek out organizations such as ObsidianLaunch.com (which I just found) I’m figuring out there are several coaching organizations, (Yanik Silvers new “giving back” plan) and investor groups specifically seeking out young entrepreneurs like myself and possibly you if you’ve stumbled upon this article. Learn, embrace, and give yourself the best odds.

The aim of this post was to make kids like myself realize we actually have great odds at succeeding NOW rather than the guy starting his first business in his 30’s and on. The odds are in our favor. I am
realizing this more and more everyday.

Think of the media, parents, and the majority of Americans! We all like to know that a 19 year old adolescent can be great and do what other, wiser, more experienced people sometimes can not. We all love the young pop stars, child actors, the teenage sports prodigies, and yes… The young millionaire CEO’s.

I feel so very blessed with this new opportunity I have been given. February 20th could not come sooner. Thank you Yanik Silver, Shonika Proctor, and the many groups seeking to uplift young people like
myself. I will be seeking you guys out a lot more!

Perhaps you might not be the producer or the director but you could still be a star The things that you did or didn’t do ”yesterday” add up to your success or failure today. 7 months ago I saw a trailer for a movie called the YES Movie (www.theyesmovie.com). YES stands for Young Entrepreneur Society. So as soon as I saw it, I said, WOW! That is cool, the folks in my community would love that and could benefit from it. So I wanted to get us involved with it. As evidenced in Exhibit A: Translation- The comments section of the video that is at the end of the post, I asked the Producer of the movie at the ground level- how can I get involved? And he promptly commented back (very much appreciate that) and said that I could help with the promotion of the video. Who else would ever see that comment? I don’t know… So I contacted the Director of the movie and founder of the YES Concept and Community Louis Lautman (always call from the top) and I asked how can I help YOU promote your movie? And he basically said, I am grateful of whatever way you want to get involved.

The Wonder Twins were fraternal twins, a brother and sister, from a 1980’s American Children’s Cartoon. They were the good guys so to speak and whenever a problem happened they got notified on their special little walkie talkie type watches. They would look at each other do a ‘fist bump’ and say “Wonder Twin Powers…Activate”. Then one would say Shape of a [blank] and they would turn into whatever that person, place or thing was and the other would say Form of a [blank] which was usually liquid in some form or variety. Then they would go off on their mission to save the world. When you think about it, this is alot like being an entrepreneur.

Apart we are strong but together we are mighty.

Two small ‘guys’ come together so that they can manifest something bigger and faster than if they tried to go at it on their own as they pursue their individual and collective mission of saving the world. Case in point, a few weeks ago I joined forces with self-made millionaire and Internet Serial Entrepreneur Yanik Silver (www.yaniksilver.com).

Patricio Quezada, Teen CEO of Duox Technologies made his online radio debut yesterday on Teenaged World of Maddy.  Aside from saying ‘ummm’ approximately 437 times I would say he did pretty darn good. The interview is thorough, covers a lot of information about his company, how he stays organized, how he re-energized himself when he lost focus for a bit and at some point, he turns the table and asks the interviewers questions!

In Patricio’s interview he also talks about his new Hispanics Learn training classes and his forthcoming book The BiLingual Computer Handbook (expected release date: March 2009).
